Rarely does he come to earth being occupied with his travels across the heavens and underworld but when he does he appears to age as the sun ages throughout the day. He begins as a young boy, by midday he has become a grown man and by evening he is aged man. This change is gradual and subtle and can only be noticed over the span of hours. His features change as appropritate, as a youth he is long haired and beardless, as a man he wears the goatbeard of the pharaohs, and as an old man his hair thins but never completely balds. Whatever age he seems to be he is tall, slender, and dark completed. Those with supernatural sight claim he is always surmounted by a solar disk, or an least an aura of light.

The worship of Horus was brought from the outside by neighboring tribes who invaded and then settled into Egypt. He was their god of war, but was quickly absorbed into the state religion, first as a son of Ra, then changing to become the son of Osiris. He was the protector and guide to the pharaoh and later pharaohs were believed to be his avatar on earth. Horus was also the patron of young men and the ideal of the dutiful son who grows up to become a just man.

GREAT SERPENT (PRIMEVAL), [-70000 - 2012], Worshiped as long as 70,000 years ago Great Serpent was the first life-death-rebirth deity. As the snake's skin sloughs off it is reborn to a new life, so too Great Serpent represents the cycle of the world itself being reborn. Grasping his own tail as the Ouroboros, symbolic of consuming himself, or as a bringer of the fertile rains, and deathly droughts in cycles Great Serpent is always there in the cosmic rebirth cycle.

Wesir (SCION), [0 - 2012], Scion of the SON-CONSORT. A foreign human king who brought civilization of Egypt from the north. Settled at Busiris is Lower Egypt. Deified after death as Osiris, due to the magic of Isis but forbidden to return to earth.

MONTU (EGYPT: LOCAL), [-2000 - 0], FALCON or BULL of HERMONTHIS. A manifestation of the scorching sun and as a destructive force a war god. Known for his strength, virility, and victory. A protector of the happy home. State god during 11th Dyn, later subordinate to Amun. Associated with raging bulls. White bulls with a black faces are sacred to him.
