Poseidon also takes an interest in personal land transportation, developing out of his connection with horses into cars and motorcycle, and in particular racing them. He is also starting to take an interest in aeronautics, but is concerned Zeus may look on him as infringing on the sky.

Poseidon is not necessarily a friend of men. It is more likely for someone to pray that he will not wreck their ship than for assistance. He jealously protects what is his not just the sea but also his children.
